Sexual Assault Services
Deaf Smith County Crisis Center is here to provide services to those who have been impacted by sexual violence.
We serve adult survivors of sexual assault, whether assaulted by a stranger or someone you know, we believe you and are here to support you.
We are here to help and provide crisis intervention as well as other services which are available to all survivors regardless of race, gender, ability, age, ethnicity, religion, status, and sexual orientation.

It's never too late: It doesn't matter if the assault happened yesterday or several years ago, we are here to support you and help you navigate next steps.

Compassionate Support: Our services are provided by trained staff and volunteers who have knowledge and understanding about sexual violence.

Available Support: Services are available 7 days/week through our 24-hour crisis hotline and via Accompaniment to hospitals, law enforcement offices, prosecutors' offices and courts.

While you're not required to report to receive services, we are required by law to report abuse, neglect, and exploitation of children, elderly, and those with disabilities.
24/7 Crisis Hotline
Our 24-hour crisis hotline is answered by trained advocates who provide immediate, confidential, non-judgmental support, crisis intervention, information and referrals. To contact our hotline call: 806-363-6727.

Walk-in Crisis Intervention and Advocacy
You don't need an appointment to receive support. We provide walk-in crisis intervention support and advocacy during office hours which are: M-F 9:00 AM-5:00 PM. Our office is located at: 218 West 3rd, Hereford, TX.
Crisis Intervention
Sexual assault can impact many areas of your life and cause physical, emotional, and mental stress. If you're in need of help or experiencing a crisis, we are here to provide immediate support to assist you in identifying next steps for your healing journey.
Advocacy
With your permission, we can provide assistance on your behalf with third parties to help address concerns involving schools, employers, law enforcement agencies, housing authorities, health care professionals, prosecutors' offices, Crime Victims Compensation, etc.
Multilingual Support
Our agency has bilingual staff and access to interpreters. We can provide support in the language you feel most comfortable. This includes support for those who are deaf, hearing impaired, or with limited English proficiency.
Accompaniment
If you chose to report or receive medical care, we can go with you during interactions with hospitals, law enforcement officers, prosecutors' officers, and courts to provide support and information about your rights. This includes accompaniment to sexual assault forensic exams, law enforcement interviews, and other court procedures.
Public Education
We provide education to the public to increase awareness around the dynamics of sexual assault, its causes, consequences and services available to survivors through workshops, speaking engagements, and distribution of printed materials.

Our advocates have access to an extensive network of community resources and are here to connect you to additional services based on your needs.
